Orlando Downtown Art & Living Expo
Feb. 19-20, 2011. The streets along Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando
will come alive with artisans showcasing their talents, color and music.
The Free 7th annual Art & Music Festival will feature
175 juried
artists with displays
of glass,
jewelry, fine crafts, mosaics,
paintings,
photography, pottery and sculpture. Also, new for 2011 will be our
Chalk Street Painting Section as
Robinson Street is turned into a "canvas" with mesmerizing
chalk masterpieces by experienced street painters. The juried displays
will be judged for cash prizes and ribbons.
Expo Art Show hours are from 11-6pm each day along with
concerts
featuring
Ambrosia!
Ambrosia garnered five
Grammy nominations, five hit singles like
“Biggest Part of Me”, “Holding on to Yesterday”, "How much I Feel",
“You’re the only Woman”. Also performing Orlando's Simulcast and more!
A variety
of great Expo food and snacks will be available. The Expo will also
feature street
performers,
children and family
activities in the Park with the
Orlando Museum of Art and the Orange County Regional
History Center long with face painting,
balloon magic, bounce houses, rock wall and so much more.
